Here's hoping that next week is better.
The tree of life is a common thread running through various world theologies, mythologies, and philosophies. Whether it represents common descent and interconnectedness of all things, the sacred tree of wisdom, or even a family tree, this pattern is a lovely, symmetrical design that will accentuate a number of surroundings.
6.86 x 7.14 inches on 14 count Aida 96 x 100 stitches Available on Craftsy and Etsy. It's a week of sugary sweetness and romance. In honor of Valentine's Day this Friday, I offer this little darling. I painted this Artist Trading Card using acrylic paint. Most of my paintings are done in miniature. Lately, I've been attempting to paint something on a larger canvas. It's not something I do often and I don't really have a clear vision of what it's going to be. In the end, I hope will be something delightful.
Come back next week to see my newest cross stitch pattern! In honor of Valentine's Day, this entwined heart is definitely different from the usual designs. Two halves are wrapped around each other to form the shape of a delicate heart, like two people deeply in love.
There are several stitches you can try here and most are not very complicated. I've included links to my favorite embroidery blog which has amazing tutorials on how to do these stitches. This design will stitch quickly enough and look very nice in a frame as a romantic gift. Customize it with names to make a treasured gift. It would also look spectacular embroidered onto clothing or a bag. As usual, the pattern is on Etsy and Craftsy. |
