It's the First Monday of the Month which means it's time for a new embroidery pattern!
This pattern was inspired by Maori designs. I originally worked this design with a series of others on a set of napkins to give to my sister in law from New Zealand. It incorporates multiple elements:
The Circle of Life which includes the path of life ever ongoing, with no beginnings and no end.
Koru (Spiral) is the symbol of new growth, new life, peace and tranquility.
In this design there is a circle within a circle and waves spiraling around it.
Included in the patter are a range of different sizes of the pattern: 4 inches, 3.5 inches, 3 inches, and 2.5 inches.
You can find it at Craftsy and Etsy.
