Remember this awesome embroidery pattern? Well, not everyone embroiders, so I thought I'd do something for all the cross stitchers and other grid pattern lovers out there.
The pattern is available on Etsy and Craftsy.
Bold and majestic this rampant unicorn rears up onto his back legs ready to face whatever foe challenges him. With a white body and gleaming golden hooves mane and tail, he would look amazing with a little bit of metallic thread mixed in.

This is another ATC (Artist Trading Card) that I made for a swap on ATCsForAll. The challenge for the swap was a black and white drawing with just a pop of red. I love making layered clothing in drawings. I just wish I could make layers look better on me.
Come back next week for a new cross stitch design! It's the first Monday in December so that means it's time for a new embroidery pattern!
This delicate little unicorn is inspired the some of the breathtakingly beautiful medieval tapestries depicting unicorns as dainty white creatures more reminiscent of a deer than a horse. With cloven hooves and a long slender frame, she will add a touch a grace to anythings she's stitched on. Three sizes are included: 4 inches tall 5 inches tall 6 inches tall Mirror images of each size are also included. You can find her at Etsy and at Craftsy. It's the third Monday of the month which means it's time for a new Cross Stitch Pattern! This month's offering is in anticipation of one of my favorite holidays! I can't wait for crisp autumn air and pumpkin flavored everything. I'm making costumes for my kids and thinking about the fun we'll have trick or treating.
Early enough for a savvy stitcher to make for Halloween, this adorable little witch is sailing through the night sky on her broom. Undoubtedly she has mischief in mind. Measuring 5.86" x 5.93" on 14 count Aida (82 x 83 stitches), you can use smaller weaves to make her even tinier. She's listed on Craftsy as well as Etsy. Enjoy! My next embroidery pattern will be published on Monday 7 October! It's the first Monday in September so that means it's time for a new embroidery pattern! Today's offering is a rampant unicorn, not unlike what you'd seen gracing a crest or shield. Majestic and powerful this unicorn rears up on his back legs, horn turned forward almost like a sword. You do not want this fellow as an enemy. I stitched the example piece using a variegated thread for hooves, horn, mane, and tail. I think it added a bit of dimension to it. The pattern is available on Craftsy and Etsy.
Next week, I'll post pics of one of my non-embroidery craft projects - hint: It's Culture Day at school for my munchkins and they need costumes. My next cross stitch pattern will be released on 16 September and will be rather seasonal. |
